This is going to get emphasized with some payne's grey, I think. And dioxazine purple (which I am currently out of, and bastards at the art store are not open at this hour.)
I'm not on the computer that allows me to flip photos. I tentatively like the chordae tendinae. Will do more with it, but I like this initial blobby stuff.
And there's this quilty thing (which is also sideways). Some test blocks for something mongo I have planned. I dig it.
I'm having some extreme sexual tension issues this week. (Haven't blogged about the lucky guy yet. Maybe later.)
My house smells blissfully like turpentine; I have smears of color all over my hands and paintshirt; got layers in the background....and I feel soooooooooooooooooo much better. (Yes, that many o's.) My heart is pthalo green with little swatches of twirling copper and dioxazine purple today, and it keeps spinning.
....I hope your world is likewise.

Oh, I saw baby ART (her initials) today, a week and change old, and she is the most beautiful creature ever. She smiles in her sleep. So strange how an infant can keep you absoutely transfixed, just marvelling at little toes and fingernails and eyelashes and such. Mama looks glowy and absolutely gorgeous. (Well, she's always been gorgeous, but now she's beautifully glowy, too.) Daddy is positively beaming like he swallows the sun and it's shootin out of his fingertips. Parenthood suits the both of them. It's the coolest thing ever. I'm so happy for them.
....So I came home to create, too.
